In recent years Chinese elements have been prevalently applied in the fashion industry. Known as Chinoiseries, the garment, handbag, music and other fashion items throughout the world is incorporated into a bit of Chinese elements. With a power reserve of about 60 hours and a freely-sprung variation inertia balance alternates 21,600 times each hour, it comes with high performance and faithful accuracy. Apart from the date, moon phase and power reserve indicator, the 3123 caliber also provides a sweep seconds function. Crafted from 22 karat gold, the massive, central rotor winds the mainspring in both its directions of rotation.

The limited edtion of “les Dragon” watches from Vacheron Constantin also boast the features of Chinese elements. There are only nine pieces manufactured for each of the three watch models. The designs are all hand-made, and they are the quintessence of the bare hands of talented artisans. The three Dragons watch design comes with a different Chinese style dragon image. The engraving of a guilloche pattern on the watch face makes the watch more interesting.
